Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    And that ridiculous nickname

beaten by Price in the SF , who beat Luke Humphries in the final

Could have beaten Price, couldn’t take out 89 for the match

    He’s playing very well.

    Agree “the history maker” FFS!!!

Never surprised by Brendan Dolan, an absolute class act of the game. Has the game to beat absolutely anyone.

    yes indeed
Seems as if he has sped up his throw a good bit

This has made a huge difference to his game. Dolan was sliding down the rankings but since he has sped up his throw his game has improved massively. His throwing big averages and beating top players. It's probably the best he's ever played.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, the standard in these floor tournaments is outrageous
Gerwyb Price made a good point yesterday - said he beat Joe Murnan 6-5 - world no.1 v world no. 129 - murnan could/should have won
That doesn;t happen regualrly in other sports, but does in darts such is the depth of talent
I suppose the short format games also play a big part

Dolan beaten today, didn;t play so good; i see Snakebite beaten in rd 1 despite throwing a 101 ave

I know it's a while away, but Willie O'Connor is just outside qualifying for the World Matchplay.
If he is to do so he really needs to get a bit more consistent on the floor.

He was in the qualification spot but his poor form since world championship has him dropping down the rankings

Steve Lennon is still in today, into the L16 now. Good to see him go on a bit of a run.

Another thing I've notices is how poor Glen Durrant and Adrian Lewis are doing. Durrant is going to plummet down the rankings this year. Lewis struggling to stay top 32 at this stage.

It seems Durrant really got knocked sideways by a bout of Covid
Who knows what's going on with Adrian Lewis, such a talented player , but very inconsistent these days

Great win in R1 for Steve Lennon as he beats Johnny Clayton 6-4.

Both Adrian Lewis and Glen Durrant out first round again. Duzza was battered 6-1 by Jason Lowe.

Play has been suspended for today apparently, no reason given, hopefully nothing serious

Edit: According to PDC's twitter someone needed medical attention, hopefully the person involved is ok

Dolan beaten by Price in the semi final.

He’s made a nice few pound in the last couple of weeks

Another set of pro tour events starts tomorrow goes on until next Tuesday. Few big names are missing: Gary Anderson, James Wade, Jonny Clayton, Peter Wright, Gerwyn Price, Joe Cullen, Glen Durrant and Adrian Lewis

    Entries here: https://www.live-darts.com/pdc-darts-news/pdc-super-series/pdc-super-series-3-entries/?fbclid=IwAR2_QRpccN08F_arDeSi5uUSvIwl0aP-YH0DOv82B9AQm2C6axOlkmMa3ho

Surprised about Lewis dropping out since he badly needs to get some form going.

Yeah not surprised PL players would want a break. Thought Price be chomping at the bit to get back in action

    Draw today: https://tv.dartconnect.com/playerboards/pdcpc21e09

    Irish players:

    O'Connor vs Beeney
    Dolan vs Rasztovitis
    Lennon vs Klaasen
    Teehan vs Evetts

Excellent 6-1 win there for Lennon in third round against Smith

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,761 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Some performance from Jose in the final. Destroyed Humphries 8-1 with a 114 avg.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,028 ✭✭✭boomdocker

Unreal , he had 3 legs there in the middle of the match 10, 11, 11 legs

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,761 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

MVG early exit again today. Rob Cross lost to Aaron Beeney

Irish lads going well and hitting good averages

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,028 ✭✭✭boomdocker

    Michael Smith won
Saw a bit of his post match interview, moaning about not being in the premier league and what a great player he is compared to Dimitri vdB
    A bit of a tosser

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,761 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

I saw the interview as well. Dumped on Aaron Beeney, who made his first career semi, said he wouldn't have got out of bed if he knew he'd be playing him

Lennon and O'Connor just outside the qualification spots for World Matchplay. Lennon draws against Andy Hamilton, O'Connor gets Scott Mitchell

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,823 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Smith's attitude stinks. He talks the talk but sadly for him he's got nothing to back it up. I'd say most people won't be too upset the next time he inevitably fills his togs on the big stage.

Watched it back there, what a complete tosser
And bragging about equalling Ian White's tournament wins
Might want to set your sights a bit higher than Diamond White Bully Boy:(

He's good friends and practices with Ian White.

Smith wont be adding onto his win yesterday. Martijn Kleermaker knocks him out 6-3

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,761 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Dont think many would have expected this for the semis:

    Dolan vs Kleermaker
    DVD vs Boulton

DVD should have his matchplay spot secured if he wins this. Boulton and Kleermaker will jump into the matchplay qualifying spots if they go on and win this

I used to like Smith but he’s turned into a spoilt arrogant petulant child.

Do your talking at the oche Michael!!!

Robert Thornton makes it into today's semi even though he hasn't a tour card.

Knocked out everyone's favorite Michael Smith :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,761 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Dmitri Van Den Bergh beats Van Duijvenbode to win his first floor title. Should carry that form into premier league next week

A further 8 pro tour events have been confirmed before the matchplay

O'Connor and Lennon are still capable of qualifying but need good runs in these

The guy is not only a dickhead with an inflated ego and over bearing sense of entitlement.

He thinks because he won a single event in super series 3 he s better than dimitri.

The stupid idiot too thick to realize dimitri not only won an event in the same series, dimi even finished higher in the super series 3 table.

dimitri has won an actual ranking tv major, in fact every player in the PL has won some sort of tv comp.
Smith has never won a thing of note, but has an ego of someone who thinks they won something.

Next super series starts on Monday. Adam Hunt is after dropping out so will miss out on a chance making lakeside. Hopefully Steve Lennon and O'Connor get decent runs in them

O connor is in trouble, as he won a players champs 2 years ago and is defending that this week.

The 4 corresponding pc's in 2019 were won by O Connor, Durrant, Harry Ward, and J de Zwaan, and cannot see any of them coming close again.

Hopp had a final spot and he will drop as he is not even in the events

Bad draw for him today: Ratajski

Lennon got more favorable draw Ryan Miekle. I'm interested in how Durrant gets on against Kirk Sheppard

Jose hammers poor Willie Borland 6-0 first round with a 127 avg

    Willie O connor beats Ratajski
Keane Barry takes out 152 in a last leg decider to beat Aspinall

Durrant's break from the darts made no difference. Lost 6-2 to Kirk Sheppard with an 80 average

I genuinely think he's finished. He'll be playing the WDF tour in a couple of years.
