Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He says he can't hear his audio... tweet him to let him know you can hear him.
Or maybe tweet to say we can't hear you so take a break mate :)

Nizzolo's Italian National Champions jersey is savage... pity we won't get to see it in a race ever :( (he will be wearing the European jersey)

    Yeah, it's a great pity.
There MUST be some way for the various governing bodies to come to some arrangement to allow riders wear a combination jersey of World/Regional/National colours.

Has Schar got a deeper rim on the rear there?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,545 ✭✭✭at1withmyself

Pavel Sivakov is injured, no details but he was at the rear and moving slowly after a crash about 5 minutes ago. Big hit to Bernal if its serious

It's something that I haven't even considered beofre today but the time of year will mean more of this weather than is normally at the tour, could be a huge factor during some stages.

It's super dangerous out there now ,hope all stay upright.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,506 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

    JA down now as well

Sivakov is banged up on his right side. At the Dauphine, he came down on his left side. Poor fella.

Weather causing carnage. Would they neutralise the course if too many came down on the first stage?

    Discbrake failure for Alaphilppe?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,506 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

Bernal off the back of the peloton now as well??

EDIT: Tom D out the back with Sivakov behind JA now

    Another crash :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭velo.2010

Sivakov down again. He'll struggle to get to the finish today.

    And another crash...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

I would not fancy riding in these conditions

Race should be neutraized it's too dangerous, we have had enough serious accidents as already this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

Looks like the peloton themselves are slowing down the pace

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭velo.2010

I think they have to catch the break and then they'll neutralise the race. Will we still have the sprint to determine the yellow jersey?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 410 ✭✭topnotch

Alaphilippe for the stage win. :pac:

Bennett vs Sagan vs WVA for the sprint?

    Ewan over 6 minutes back.

Nizzolo looks like he broke or dislocated something.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,506 ✭✭✭✭retalivity

Ewan, Nizzolo gone, Colbrelli injured, less competition for sam

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

    Good interview from Sam there

I think Nizzolo's demise was called a bit early. Looks like he's getting back on.

Sam is the fastest man out there , if he gets a clear run and times it well I can't see anyone stopping him but it's one dodgy unpredictable day out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,457 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

    Flat tyre for Sam

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,826 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Crap, should get back on okay given the current pace.
