Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best equipment for an Audio Podcast?

    Hi everyone,

I am looking to start a new audio podcast and would really appreciate if anyone can give me tips & advice regarding the best equipment to buy.

It will be an audio podcast and I will be looking to upload it onto Anchor and eventually Spotify.

Based on articles I've read and videos I've seen, I believe I need:

    A microphone (or 2?)
    2 pairs of headphones
    An Audio Interface
    Mic Stand
    Pop Filter
    Shock Mount
    Microphone Cables
    Editing Software (DAW)

If anyone have any tips regarding what equipment to buy (and where to buy it), I'd greatly appreciate any help with this because I know VERY little about this type of thing!

    Many thanks!

    Paul

Oh yes, do you have a budget BTW
It'll be much easier to give you a gear list if we have a ballpark figure.
