Hi there,

Recently I’ve become estranged from my parents, in the sense that they won’t financially support me. My dad just lost his dad and my mum is a head nurse so we’re over the line for the grant. I live in cork for college and never go home and was hoping to work for summer and get my own place. I’m 20 years old, would I be eligible for the grant if I’m not being financially supported by them?
