Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

he actually led 5-1, then never had a match dart

Ratajski can fairly play when he's on his game - won both Players Champs in Barnsley back in October as well as one of the UK Open qualifiers earlier in the year

Surely DvdB is a bit old to be still a youth? He's 24 and won this last year!

Yep, Mason said it at the start of the coverage, pretty ridiculous tbh.

Should be giving genuine “youth” an opportunity on the big stage.

Never got going till the last 4 legs or so. Well done Gurney, stayed in touch and did very well to close it out.

    Thanks.

Wasn’t it only a few weeks ago that MvG was saying that Gurney wasn’t a top 8 player. Lol.

Worlds gonna be really interesting this year

Worlds will be interesting as top dogs are looking vulnerable and draw tomorrow will be interesting, Lisa Ashton for long shot:pac:

Crowd were behind Gurney for a change, so its up to him now to keep it that way.

MVG's scoring on the first three darts per leg was awful in both of his matches today

So many players in form, Wade, Suljovic, Price, Anderson, MvG and then there’s a large number of “second tier” of players who are really playing well.

Don’t think Wright or Cross will be in the shake up.

If MvG’s odds improve I might put a few quod on him as he’ll be harder to beat over the longer format.

    TbL

Edit: he’s 8/5 still very poor odds

MvG has had his troubles in set play though and he isn't the invincible force this year he was in 2017. Deserves to be favourite but there are plenty who'll fancy their chances this year. I reckon it could be Big John Henderson's year at last.
