Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I'm wondering does anyone have any insight into Ptosis.

I've a droopy eye lid, it doesn't affect my vision but it is quite noticeable when I'm tired. I have done some reading and know it's possible to have minor surgury to fix the situation. I'm just wondering has anyone here gone down that route.

    Thanks

Just chiming in here so I get to see responses.

I do have a mild bit of ptosis, more noticable on one eye.

For me its a cosmetic problem, when I wear eye make up the eye liner on that eye gets transferred above to the upper lid and looks wonky. I was seriously considering surgery a year or so ago then I discovered eye make up that dries on and doesnt budge so I am less concerned for now.

If both eyes were equally as wonky it might be more tolerable, but I feel it makes me look a bit weird when just one droops - more noticable when tired too. People tell me theyve never noticed it, and I agree that in motion you wouldnt pay attention, but occasionally I see it in photos or catch myself in a mirror and notice.

I think Id have to get both eyes done to make them look even though.

Id be interested to hear from anyone who got it done and how much it cost etc..
