Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can I give me counsellor chocolates for Christmas?

Hope someone can offer guidance. Been seeing a counsellor for the past 9 months and she has helped me greatly. I was wondering is it appropriate for me to give her a box of heroes and a Christmas card as a Christmas gift or would she be allowed to accept the chocolates? I know each is different but does anyone know is there a code or duty etc as part of their registration that they aren’t? Eg staff in hospitals cannot accept cash etc

Can't see it as an issue tbh. It's a gift/thought, different if it was of high monetary value.

There would be no issue with a box of chocolates and a card

It might make some professionals uncomfortable for various reasons. You have other ways of thanking them, such as referring others to them, paying your bill on time and just telling them how much they have helped them.

It'll depend on the professional, but it should be fine and appreciated. If they do decline it though, don't take it personally, they're sticking to the strictest guidelines.
