Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Accessing BMD records in England

    Hi,
    we are spoiled here in Ireland - with many many records free at irishgenealogy.ie, and the rest available for €4 by email.

    But what about ordering certs from England? I find that it's £9.25 per cert there - so I really have to be a lot more careful about trying to only order the ones that will be most informative.

    Am I missing a trick? Is there a cheaper way to get records from England?

    Nope. Unless you can avail of the pdf option which they were/are trialing.
