    Is there foot access from Lacken, I assume there is, down to the lake shore?

    Presume you mean Lacken near Blessington in Wicklow as opposed to the many other places called Lacken? If so, there's an old tarred lane down to the reservoir. Templeboden well lies offshore under the water there and is sometimes visited when Dublin draws loads of water and the reservoir drops.

    Yeah, Blessington Lacken....sorry Barry. Actually, should have consulted your maps (have all Wicklow ones ;) )first. Was just messing around on Google Earth.
