    A nice Max of 19.7c here in west clare today. I sat in a wind sheltered area and got very warm with my inappropriately dark clothing. So warm in fact, I had to move to an area with a slight breeze. Not used to the heat yet, I've been shriveled up into blankets all winter and suddenly this wave of warmth comes along.

    Humidity was low today, so low my station refused to list it as anything except "LO". Pressure at 1025mb for daylight hours, down at 1023mb now with the station forecasting rain.
    Still another day of sunshine yet though!

    Great day here near Tralee, got quite breezy mid morning but has eased again back to an avg of 5 kph, tons of contrails across the sky and a few cirrus.

    16C approx

    Hazy sky, heard of a big mountain side fire over on Mangerton near Killarney, I wonder is the Southerly breeze carrying the smoke this far?

    It was 2.9C here at 7.26 am and had risen to 11.0C by 7.51 am - a rise of 8 degrees in 25 minutes!

    Calm with a touch of grass frost, fresh south-easterly breeze kicked in.

    Mainly clear, sunny, some scattered high cloud - pressure is dropping like a bomb.

    Heavy rain has arrived here on Kerry coast under very dark skies. Wind strong throughout the afternoon gusting to 43 kph now avg 18 kph.

    Got to about 16C and feeling much cooler now.

    Big change this evening in Castlebar, persistant rain along with a gusty westerly wind arrived around half 7. currently 6 degrees. 1006. (note very gusty as the band of rain arrived)

    Cloudless, sunny, breezy - 5.5 (overnight low 3.7C).

    6mm of rain fell between 2am and 5am - and not a trace left behind.

    Could get seriously addicted to this climate!

    Turned out a great day here near Tralee, blue sky and sunshine all afternoon , only getting up to about 10C but pleasant as only very light breeze from a northerly direction.

    When the rain stopped 9.4 mm had fallen, it remained mainly cloudy till late afternoon. Now clear, calm and 7C.

    Odd day - the lowest temp, 5C, was at midday - it was 11.5 in the morning rain and got back to 10C in the late afternoon sunshine.
