Domain name pointing to website hosted elsewhere

Hi, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong here but...I'm trying to point a domain name I bought through Blacknight to my portfolio website hosted elsewhere. I have attached a screenshot of the instructions from the portfolio site and also a screenshot of the error I am getting in the Blacknight control panel....Would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

Hi Jonnbinn

The records you are being asked to modify are the DNS A records, the sreenshot shows you attempted to change the NS records.

To add or modify the A records follow https://help.blacknight.com/hc/en-us/articles/212512209-DNS-records-in-cp-blacknight-com or give our support team in Carlow a call on 0599183072 or [url=tel:1850929929]1850 929929[/url] and they can assist you.
