Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nautical Antiques? Are there any specialist stores or yards?

I want to buy some pieces for my mobile home, not the gammy fake / decorations you get in the likes of Woodies or whatever. I want real pieces like lights / fittings / etc.
Aside from regular Antique stores are there any bricks n mortar / actual breakers yards where you can get this kind of stuff?

Not on the island of Ireland but there some specialist maritime dealers in the UK.

All Irish salvage yards are listed here: https://collectireland.com/

There's a guy in Ennis just near the town centre, hes an Aladdin's cave for the objet d'art you require...

I take a peek in there now and again I wish I had the money to spend....

The is/was a place down in Cahirciveen that sold those things. Don't know if it's still open.
