Classic Connacht, lots of ambition and nice play but unforgivable inaccuracies

    As I was saying...

    Wonderful from Williams though

Hurley must be the slowest full back in the country. Lovely take by Williams!

    Honestly, Connacht's defence is brutal.

This reminds me of last week, they look half decent going forward but hopeless in defence.

    A phrase I thought I'd never read :)

This is painful.... Faloon has been having a terrible game, Connacht set piece looking shaky. Positives are Leader and Healy.

the good thing is we can take off players soon for the big one

Touch judge should have really called that

Personal experience here; when you are running the touchline, it can be hard to see the grounding and touch at the same time when you are too close to play.

Stupid try again, BTW. How many soft scores can a game have?

How did Downey get away with that?

Seal the bonus point and take the HEC starters (Killer, POC etc) off when they've got enough of a run.

Exact same as last week. As soon as Connacht make an error they seem to leave the back door open all the time. Easiest team in the world to score from turnovers on.

We saw it, we called it, ref & esp that touch judge must be asleep

Two absolute bottle jobs by the linesman to (a) not see both of poolman's feet in touch from the crossfield and (b) the high tackle.

Munster not on top as the score would suggest, first two tries were very soft. Hopefully the performance won't let up in the second half and we can run in a big score.

TJ is afraid to make a decision, Poolmans non try didnt need to go to the tmo and he took ages on the KO call as well.

It's odd how the commentators keep remarking how harsh the score-line has been on Connacht. The manner in which the tries have been conceded have been unlucky, but Munster have been comfortably on top all game bar maybe two instances of pressure by Connacht.

Liking Conway's work rate and effort putting real pressure on at restarts. Murphy is once again looking lost at 13. Time to haul some of the Toulon starters off soon and go for the crucial bonus point.

slightly one eyed, Connacht backs are cause all sorts of problems, execution killing us

Munster are at sea at 13, but Connacht haven't had many chances. Their first try came from their first visit to the Munster 22.

That tj may as well not be there. Can't call anything.

Munster are good value for the lead - Connacht need to learn how to defend. No use being great in attack if you are likely to concede a try on every counter attack.

No point us making all these signings with no defence coach, need for one been stark lately

Absolutely, it's easy to see how Connacht get punished so easily.

Its a bit much to say that Downey made to attempt to wrap; It would have been a very harsh yellow, but it should have been a penalty.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,857 ✭✭✭Spudmonkey

Was that tackle high? He didn't wrap poolman but I've seen tackles that high before.
