Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Over the water after a very pleasant ferry trip this morning - treated myself to a seat in the stena lounge cause I'm still feeling ill and I made the best of the free tea (not Barry's). Now in temporary accommodation, annoying myself by catching up on Brexit-related shenanigans and resting before I head to a friend's house to be fed.

In from out after a long and amazing day in so many unexpected ways... Collapsed abed longing f0r painkillers to click in and hot water bottle applied.

In from out. So much to take in today; so deeply moved by the goodness and kindnesses shared, working both ways of course.

Home after a rough first day back in work. But put new bedclothes on the bed, and clean PJs on, now in bed watching rubbish YouTube videos, feeling like I conquered Everest because I got through the day without crying or throwing anything at anyone.

In bed feeling very bad. Pain reaching really bad levels and I'm struggling to do anything. Gonna take hours to finish my homework :(

Bedside after what wad a busy day. The interview was less an interview, more of a talk and form filling in thing. But all being well, I can start working whenever. Not really sure that I want to though, I've gotten used to being lazy :p

Sitting on the side of my bed at the moment filling out my diary. Alternating between here and the floor as sit and play with my dog. Also trying to organise a little treat for myself for tomorrow as it is a big day for me.

Paying the price for doing far too much yesterday, but impenitent... Made so many new acquaintances, and some will become friends. Learned so much about the town I shop in many times.

My neighbours the ferry folk took ,my empty gas bottle and brought the full one back and to its right place. Small kindnesses that mean so much

    Grocery delivery today ....

    yawn...ie abed of course,.

Back from a stroll up the bog. It's our first proper frost this season and the air is fresh, dry, and invigorating. Now, for breakfast...

I left the house with just a shirt and light jacket on. Nearly froze to death on the way in.
    Am still thawing out.
Hat and scarf and gloves will be dusted off tonight.

In work and I'm frozen inside out. I wore thermals and layers this morning, but can't get the heat into me. It's not even that cold yet.

Ach you poor craythurs. A mild 30 degrees here.

Back in my condo munching a half warmed piece of baguette with unmelted cheese, cold tomatoes and raw onion.

Boyfriend says use grill in microwave. Will be fine.

Microwave + air conditioning = electric tripping.

By the time the fuse box was found, I had a quick meeting to take on the phone with an Irish client and no time reheat or make something else.

Damn the press viewing and opening party of a new nightclub needing attending in an hour. So annoyed coz will get drunk quicker on the free booze. Ugh.

    FML*

Sitting in my car outside my house. Why am I not at school you may ask? Well because they called home and said I had to go and I got no say in the matter and it's such bull**** because I know my pain tolerance and I was fine but since one teacher didn't think so I had to go home. I have two hours or so to kill until an appointment now

Home after a great wander around areas we frequented in our childhood, with an old friend who is writing a paper on the archaeology of the area. Saw things in a different light and learned so much - plus old stories were brought to life.

He's sitting in the garden now, as I prepare coffee and a snack.

I was warm, now I'm cold again. Heading out in a little while for school run and piano lessons so delaying lighting the stove.
Just go a beautiful package delivered from bumbulance for Elliot. It's a bright rucksack with a Teddy, quilt, travel cushion, tee shirt, thermometer and colouring books. So unexpected..
Weigh in this evening.. Meh meh. Makes me want to run away

Roomside, waiting for my flatmate to let me know she's ready to go. Gonna take a trip to the Aldi that's about 10 mins away. It's near a slightly dodgy area so she insisted on coming with me. If Aldi's cheap back home, I can't wait to see what it'll cost here!

I always held out and would start to wind down about 5, in bed for 7, sleep by 8. It was blissful. Those sleeps where your body takes an age to wake up after.

Although working nights made me sick and I had to stop. And I was only at it a year so I think it takes a certain type to do it successfully.
