Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think that's a bit rude , would you go into a restaurant and ask them is there anywhere decent around here to go eat .

    Google it I'd say .

Pm sent, always believed in the availability and sharing of information. Forums aren't like political parties, ye can be members of more than one.

I think this forum could be restructured better. It can be next to impossible to find old threads, even with google search.

Fully agreed. There must be 100s of difference individual forums for say car makes etc, and over on the motoring subforum in boards they have no issues referring you on to one of them. I use http://www.forum4farming.com/forums/ a decent bit also, it has a fair few farmers from the UK on it, good to here the opinions of many of them also, which we don't really get here. Another one I use the odd time is this http://farmingforum.co.uk/forums/forum.php, alot of very knowledgeable people on it also, one excellent thread about robots which would be very useful for anyone considering installing one. They don't seem to accept Irish members which is a shame, but still a wealth of knowledge available just reading it.

They used to accept Irish members, there's a few on here that are on both of them.

Check out The Farming Forum, split from BFF when they went down.

I find bff good for machinery related stuff.

Am on bff, but only go on it once or twice a week. It depends on what you are interested in, I'm also on ford and fordson and one for land cruiser owners, can be handy if you want to do a bit of work on your own tractor and need to chat to someone who has already done it for tips, tools needed etc.

I think it's the people that contribute to a forum that makes it what it is. If everybody just came on here for a look and never typed a word, pretty soon there wouldn't be much to read.
