    So, in my day, as a teenager and an adult, there was limited exposure to detailed and intimate images of females.

    Now, it’s at our fingertips as such.

    IMO this has somewhat reduced the electric-touch excitement of the whole paradigm. I think any man who ever saw a glimpse of a girls things in real life before on screen will attest to the excitement that the modern person will never experience.

    I was listening to one of those Jon Ronson podcasts lately called the Butterfly Effect which studies the explosion of free Internet pornography. In one interview he asked a producer about what kind of effects this was on having on society. He gave a little story about what it's like on the set of a porno. Usually between takes the man will be watching porn on his phone in order to stay hard, even though there's a beautiful, naked woman right next to him.

    That in itself is disturbing.

    Yeah you are probably right. But there you go ...things change times change people change.

    A normal guy in the 1800's had probably seen very little in the way of nudity in Ireland. Shrug....its less of an impact on the senses and i guess guys are less sensitive to it now.

    At the same time they seem more obsessed with sex than ever.

    Not so sure it is that disturbing really. You are thinking of how you would respond in a normal situation with an undressed beautiful member of your gender of preference beside you.

    But a porn set is not a very natural environment at all.

    Nor is the sex there like sex you would have elsewhere. Not only is there other people there - like cameramen or producers or the other porn actors agent or your own agent - which is not normal for most of us most of the time - often they will stop your action to move the cameras around to other angles and re-set up the shots and so forth. There is also an unnaturally high pressure and demand upon the actors to perform. Pressure is not a great aphrodisiac.

    When in unfamiliar situations humans will often reach for something to ground themselves in the familiar. And if people are often using pornography - then it would be a useful tool for this purpose in that situation too. So for me it is not disturbing at all - but expected in many ways.

    Finally one should not assume that someone who is a "beautiful, naked woman" to you - is to the other actors they are working with. Often such actors do not get to choose who they work with - and them being attractive to you does not mean they are to the other actors in the shoot.

    A lot of fellas in their 20’s and 30’s are having serious problems getting a boner because they have wanked off almost every day to increasingly violent and hardcore gonzo style porn. Making them all depressed and angry towards women but they are addicted to porn as it’s firing off the old dopamine receptors.

    I’d say it’s a lot to do with that incel stuff as well. Then they get all tetchy if you point out that pulling the chain off yourself to anal gape gonzo porn isn’t exactly sexually liberating stuff, and is probably something you need to get psychological support with.
