Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Who's your favourite radio presenter?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I don't care what type of smartphone I use.

Trouble has a few interpretations. Depends how alert or tired I am.

What were you last in trouble for?

Not answering the proper question..Marty Whelan..

Are you looking forward to Christmas?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,290 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Not really this year. No specific reason, just getting older and more boring!

What way do you eat eggs?

Were you good when you were a kid or a bit of a bad influence on the other kids?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I was "headstrong" or so my mother used to say, but not a bad influence.

Did you have any pet names as a child? Sugar plum fairy was mine, alternating with "tough cookie" :D

Nearly never in anger, I do shout at people in the distance to get their attention.

Why is the dark afraid of you lol?

    Ever had hair lice?

    Because I am the light.

    Ever had hair lice?

Loads of times when I was a child in school, and once as an adult after coming back from an exercise with the army in Kilworth Camp, Cork.

    Are you a nervous flier?.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,290 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Yea, Cork is full of parasites :)
I'm not nervous because it's futile. What can you do but trust the pilot.

Will you have a crib in your house this Christmas?

No tf,I had 2 this year and that was enough.

    Do you enjoy weddings?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

No - I hate them. A wedding invite is like a court summons imo.

Ever have to give evidence in a court case?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,290 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I do because I'm ruthless in only going to ones that mean something to me and are special.

Do you live on a road or a street or on top of a mountain?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,290 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I think it will just blend into all the others of this century so far and not be remarkable good nor bad.

Will the British monarchy fall in our lifetime?

Pretty hungover and tired. Hopefully that’ll ebb away as the day passes.

    What is your hangover cure?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Hydration. Plenty of water. I prefer prevention.

    Plans for tonight?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

A burger or kebab before bed. Give your body something else to worry about.

Have you ever had gym membership?

Will you have a real or artificial Christmas tree this year? (or none?)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,104 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Not sure yet, too soon to be thinking about it. All though there is a house on our street with their decorations up already.

    Do you like shopping?

Will you go to see the Last Christmas movie?

Unlikely. Reports are that it’s terrible.

Do you know all the words of the Wham song?

I know all the words of every Wham song :)

Is there anything from your youth that you look back on and cringe?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I love that song but I googled to check and it turns out my brain was altering a line. If you kissed me now, you'd never fool me again.

Have you been to any local history museums in your area?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,290 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

Yes most of them but history isn't my passion so it was a meh.

    Any visitors today?
