Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tesco have distributed money off coupons via a door to door junk mail leaflet in Arklow.
    €10 off an €80 spend.
    I nearly binned it

I was in Tesco Clearwater today and these vouchers aren't working/scanning there were a few people going up to Customer Services to get their refund back, they may have used the self scan I'm not sure. So just make sure when you're using the voucher that your ten euro is coming off.

would you not but it against your gas bill if you're with bord gais... they double it.. we got 180 off our bill for having 90 quid in vouchers.. hand out like

That's what I'm thinking about alright, just need to get some time together to see the price differential (electricity only for me)

Yeah i got the same amount, as you get so much everytime you top up with tescomobile.

Do Tesco do the same as Tesco UK with their preorders on dvd/blurays, can you place a preorder on any item?

I got the reissussed vouchers also. So if I use them, are my old ones invalid then?

They say re-printed so I imagine they are the same as the old ones so once used they are no longer able to be scanned again.

I got about €18 worth of them yesterday. :D

I got €5 in reprinted vouchers in the post today, nice surprise :)

I used mine this morning but I was prepared if she said she wasn't taking them. All went through. When I totted them up in the end, adding in the €9 Multibuy savings I saved €30.17 today. :D

Got 3x €3 off a €20 spend in the post today. They do not have any clubcard number on them.

I didn't get them but I did get €24 worth (3 x €8 off a €50 spend) a few weeks ago. They take these coupons in Tesco Petrol.
Although I'm finding I have to be very "creative" to get the max value ..... :D

I got my usual Clubcard vouchers and coupons today though. The coupons give 100 points (€1) for nothing really which is decent.

Got 14 euro worth of vouchers in post today, 6 euro off if i spend 40 this week and then 4 off if i spend 40 euro for the 2 weeks after.

I never received the xmas vouchers like these but i have been shopping in Dunnes recently so am wondering are they giving me these to get me back into Tescos.

Unfortunately not Tesco petrol stations nearby :-(.

I got some vouchers too, and I would like to use them, but I have difficulty deciding on what, given that I use Aldi most of the time! Any ideas?

    Alcohol. D'oh!
I have the same problem. If I can't use them, I'll give them to someone who will or just give them to someone in the queue ahead of me :)

Ha ha, indeed, but I have reasonable alcohol stocks already :-). Can't give them away sadly, they need my clubcard to work.

Is it not the case that they just need a clubcard. I use my wife's vouchers with my card. Never a problem. The cards aren't linked

I have two €4 off €40 or more spend coupons at Tesco
One is valid 11 Feb-17 Feb, the other 18 Feb-24 Feb.
They have a name on them but not linked to a clubcard.
I'm not going to use them. I'm willing to post them to someone in the morning for the cost of 60c (55c stamp & envelope). Paypal only (transfer is free if from paypal balance).

What about clothing, kitchenware, books, cds, dvds? Larger Tescos sell a huge range of non-food items now. The clothing is fair quality and you can't go wrong with things like socks, slippers, pyjamas, underwear, etc ....

    Same here
    3x €6 off €40 spend

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,259 ✭✭✭donnacha

Got dunnes, supervalu and tesco all in the post over the past few days :) Pity they are all falling in relatively same timeframe - Supervalu and Tesco will gain most of my supermarket spend over the next couple of weeks:

Supervalu offered me 2 wks of €10 off a €50 spend.
Tesco offered me 3 wks of €6 off a €40 spend.
Dunnes offered me 1 wk of €12 off €80 spend and 3 further weeks of €8 off €80 spend.

You could always use the Tesco ones for petrol/diesel and the Supervalu/Dunnes ones for shopping if the voucher dates overlap a bit.

Anyone know if you can combine these Tesco coupons with the 5c/10c off a litre at Tesco petrol?

  • Registered Users Posts: 209 ✭✭mrswalton

This time round my Tesco vouchers include fuel in the exclusions on the back of the voucher. I don't think the previous ones did. :(

Mine don't exclude fuel on the back and one has already been used at Tesco Petrol.
