Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think my bite has changed.

I’m not sure what’s going on here but I’m in my late 30s and I have noticed they my bite seems to have gone out of line.

I always had a fairly close bite, as in they seemed like they were quiet edge on edge, but I never had any orthodontics was they’re otherwise not out of line or crooked.

I had some dental work done, including removing just one upper wisdom teeth and a crown on a mid way back tooth which had a large filling that was looking rather stained.

My concern is that I now have a gap at one side or the front of my bite and the teeth on side of the front teeth. One side the bottom teeth are where they should be, slightly behind the upper teeth and at the other side they’re hitting and even moved a tiny bit ahead of the upper teeth.

I’m also finding the area where the wisdom tooth was removed still aches sometimes a year and a half later. It was very straight forward and healed very quickly and without issues but it’s still doesn’t feel right.

Sometime my mouth just feels uncomfortable generally.

    Any ideas?

I’m not finding my dentist seems that pushed. I asked and I didn’t feel my concerns were being addressed at all.

Change dentist. If you're not feeling heard, &/having issues solved, it's time to move.
If another dentist, or numerous dentists, or an orthodontist, all have a similar opinion, fair enough. You'll need to attend for a clinical consultation to be properly assessed.
