Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can pay the missing contributions, I'd also report to Revenue that the employer took the funds.

It is possible that a 6 month period will not have any adverse impact on your pension entitlement. If you have 40 years of contributions/credits then you will qualify for a full pension on current rules. However, as you don't know what the future will hold, there is a possibility that it will have an impact, and it will be much easier to resolve this now rather than in another 30/40 years.

First step would be to contact the employer if they are available, and ask them to rectify. If this doesn't resolve things, it would be a matter of contacting social welfare and advising them. They can appoint an Inspector to investigate. They may do this alongside Revenue, particularly if any PAYE was also not being passed on.
