Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was driving back near the Glen on the N81 yesterday afternoon.

Passed an Military Police Jeep with two of the lads out behind it.
One of them was pointing something (binoculars? speed gun?) at the passing traffic and the other fellow was writing something in a notebook.

    What were they doing?

AFAIK, they have no jurisdiction over private vehicles so were the car spotting? looking for soldiers gone AWOL? Bored and testing their equipment? Teaching the lad shorthand?!

Considering the location, probably a speed trap for military vehicles. No big mystery.

It's their job to 'police' military personnel....all aspects of military life are covered...incl driving standards.

    This is it.

It was a Military Police speed trap, and they're only checking service vehicles.
