Lenovo smart alarm installation issues

Hi guys Recently bought a Lenovo smart alarm clock, I bought it from Currys Uk. Anyway when I'm trying to set it up and connect to the WiFi it says this device was intended for use in a different country and may not work. Which it doesn't it fails to connect to the WiFi. Any ideas?
