Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So I am after buying a mini lathe and am keen to learn to use it

Does anyone know where I could buy round stock of different materials and diameters without costing me a fortune I.e. I rang one metal supplier today and was told that the minimum for 40mm aluminum was 4 meters. Costing over (€100)
    Thanks

    Hi imufflets2

I get my bar stock materials of brass, free cutting steel, etc delivery from the U.K. Try googling the following suppliers, Macc Model Engineering Supplies- , Chronos Ltd.
