Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Visiting Cork where to eat

    Hi We are visiting Cork next week and would like to eat out 1 evening we will be staying in the Meterpole and will be arranging to meet up with a friend so looking for pub group . Where in the city center is open with food in a pub that we could book for our 105 mins ?

    Gallaghers which is on the same street as the metropole, less than a 5 minute walk, would be a very good choice.

    Definitely ring ahead to book a table as even midweek I’d imagine it would be busy.

    Theres a lot of buzz lately down on Princes street from recent pedestrianisation if that is of any interest, 10 min walk max but through the city centre. Clancys pub is there which does food, but also other restaurants and Clancys will still serve you drinks there so no loss if you fancied food from Rossini's Italian but also want pints or Beamish for example
