Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gas supply pipe

    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone would have any advice on the following.

I bought an old house and whilst renovating discovered a number of rat droppings and the likes and have since caught and got rid of the rats that were present. I Discovered a number of entry points and sealed them up.

To seal them I used sand and cement and one of the possible entry points was a gas supply pipe where the gas installers left a wide open hole running to the outside meter box in the garden. Pic attached showing the before and after I put the concrete on it.

There was alive snail and a couple of spiders in the hole so it was defiantly exposed to the outside lol

The pipe is by the looks of it insulated so is cement ok around this?

    Any advice appreciated, thanks

Afaik it needs to be sleeved and then you can seal both ends of the sleeve, not with sand/cement, maybe use 1inch wavin pipe for a sleeve.

Wait for one of the RGI guys to clarify first.
