Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Everyone born in northern Ireland is technically a British citizen whose birth is registered by the NHS, regardless of what subsequent nationality they claim.

Well, if that's the case, in the US the Democratic party supported slavery and the Republican party sought to abolish it. And Cromwell was a republican.

Rejoining the UK and having Queen Elizabeth as our Queen, with Irish MPs sitting in Westminster, with Irish taxes being paid to HMRC would not be the end of the world.

Not true. If your child is born in Northern Ireland but you are resident in the ROI, you are expressly told that, while the birth is first registered there, the child is not a British citizen.
