Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I want to buy my new husband as a gift a family crest plaque, can you please recommend a site or store that does this? I am based in Galway.

Hmm, I couldn't really recommend any site.
Strictly speaking, a coat of arms for a particular name belongs to the family who was granted it, rather than anyone with that surname. If you want to buy one, there's a few shops in Dublin on Nassau St and one in Temple Bar at the Fleet St end that sells them - I don't know their names though. Sorry I can't be more help.

Try crests and arms at the top of Dame street on Cork hill.

It's technically correct and a good point. Fair enough. Doesn't answer the original question. Just helping the young lady.

Got a beautiful one from Curran's Heraldry when we were in Adare a few months ago (061-362460) or website: www.curransheraldry.com.
    We're delighted with it.
