Moving from commercial to private insurance costs?

    Hi all, I've converted a small van into a camper. I was able to get commercial insurance this year but it looks like I'll have to switch the vehicle and insurance over to private insurance next year.

    I know insurance costs vary widely, but I was wondering if anyone here knows if commercial insurance is generally more expensive or not? Thanks

    I think private insurance in a van is way more expensive than commercial, that's if you can get it. Same with tax.....
