Where can I get a hose clip / clamp with a quick release?

Not really a traditional DIY problem but thought this is the best place to ask.

I'm looking for a clamp to go around the handlebar "stem" of a folding bike.

The handlbars fold away and back up. When I assemble it for cycling, I want to clamp something around the handlebar stem to keep it extra stable.

I found some hose clips in woodies that would do the trick: https://www.woodies.ie/onsite-6-piece-assorted-hose-clamp-set-1034735

However, I don't want to have to bring a screwdriver around with me all the time to loosen it to fold up the bike, then tighten it to assemble it again. So I am on the hunt for a hose clip with a quick release mechanism.

I couldn't find anything like this in woodies either.

Can I get these for cheap somewhere in Ireland?

The less metal the better due to rust. The bike will be in the rain a lot.

You can get butterfly hose clips that will open without a screwdriver.

They have a permanent plastic attachment.

I've seen them in farmers co-ops and the likes of Chadwicks etc.

Thanks. No Chadwicks or Co-op that I know of in Cork City. However there are a few other places I can try.

Have you ever seen one with an even quicker release? A latch that you can flip open on closed? Like the pic I shared.

I googled 'quick release hose clamp' and found a few options. Dunno about the size though.
Bike shop maybe.

Seat post clamp was my first thought too.

I'm wondering why it's necessary, though. Have the handlebars always been loose, or is it a new issue.

If you could take a picture it would help.

Also, perhaps request to have this thread moved to the cycling forum, you might get more specific advice, as a good few of us that post there work on our own bikes

There's obviously an issue with the locking mechanism on that lever. I'd be looking to fix it.

Are you hoping to put the quick release seat clamp in place of the black strap? If so, be aware that the quick release lever makes the clamp looser, but doesn't actually open the clamp fully to allow you to take it off.

If you haven't done so already, request that your thread be moved to cycling, you should get some specific advice there
