Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Couchside, full of lovely pain drugs :pac:

This morning wasn’t too bad.. woke up half way through, though.. got another dose sedation stuff.. and was out for the rest. I must have asked the dentist to keep the teeth as I found them in a little bag in my pocket!? Sedation is cool :D

    Hope everyone’s Monday was good!

Glad it went well for you Dave :) How are you feeling now?

Working in a shop in England I am delighted by the government making face coverings compulsory tonight. There was a good bit of uptake but nowhere near even 50%. Nothing is foolproof, including masks, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who will feel far more confident working and shopping with everyone wearing something.

    Now for some wine.

@ Leggy, I don’t think so! They could have been handed to me and I put them there for all I know! :D That sedation stuff is awesome.

I'm grand, had room service and everything. Own en suite bedroom with a fancy electrical recliner type bed, only real issues was you had to call someone to unlock the mini-bar. Back in for a test on Monday next. Studying isn't my style so I'll just wing it and see how it goes.

Wtf is a HSE value weekend??

That happened to me, she wrote her number on my mickey while I was sedated. Just the area code though, ran out of space. :(

It doesnt sound like my cup of tea, either. But you'd probably hate the films I like, too. I like mine real and gritty and downright grim. I think the films my OH likes are trite schite, he thinks I watch misery porn (and I probably do).

We all have different expectations of entertainment. Maybe your friends just needed the feelgood at the moment. I do feel your pain, however.

Watch Robocop again, your friend will like it too as it's universally accepted as the best film ever crafted by mere mortals.

Just saw a statistician from Belfast on dating site. Now I don't do chat-up lines as a rule, but sometimes you have to. Seeing as there's no chance of a reply:
A statistician? Pity you're so far out of range as I had some great chat-up lines. Well, to be honest, they were pretty average, and some were just mean.
So cheesy she's now several standard deviations outside of a healthy bell-curve.

Oh gawd. That reminds me, years ago I fancied this fella. Seriously into him for a while. Definitely not a hard man, but the sensitive type, educated, opinionated, good for a bit of an argument on a hot topic. All systems were go as we flirted more openly with one another each time we met up. And then i asked him who his favourite author was. Jane Austen. Never has my opinion changed and my attitude to someone switched so quickly. Put me right off him. Actually ended up not being able to stand the man (we socialised in the same group) So I know where you are coming from with this. I don't think you can see those friends in the same ligh, ever again

I'm not entirely sure how I'd feel about a girl being all that big into Jane Austen. She ruined Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

In the middle of a virtual training class for Crew Resource Management, its kinda weird as it requires a lot of interaction that is hard to obtain through Microsoft Teams.

Plus side, first time i got to order room service during training :):)
