Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Still getting in to the low twenties early next week then another short breakdown. Afterward a substantial ridge looks to build in and this could promise warm and sunny weather once again. Long way out though.

Some high temperatures for the time of year (max low twenties in sunshine) and even some potential for thundery weather on the ECM for midweek next week. Worth keeping an eye on.

Probably time to forget about this thread now...

Nope. The warm weather for the start of the week did not materialise but all is not lost for toward the weekend. Still potentially some very nice weather to come.

Whats the craic with you Maq? You've turned into one of the most negative posters on here. For years you were great and I looked forward to your posts but now it just seems you can't wait to get an unpopular opinion in.

Nothing wrong with being realistic but it seems like you are going out of your way to upset the apple cart lately.

Looking at Met Eireann they were showing temps for Saturday of 12 degrees, not very warm

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 922 ✭✭✭FWVT

Indeed. Thicknesses of only around 540 dm, 850 temps around 0. The only good thing is that winds should be calm, so it will feel ok in any sunshine (but cold in the shade).

It will be a good bit milder in the west/northwest at the weekend. Temperatures there probably to 16 or 17c on current projections. More like low teens elsewhere but, fingers crossed, it should be mostly sunny.

The UKMO is a warmer prospect generally than the GFS and ECM though.
