Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    19ºc in Bray probably aided by the Foehn effect and with clear blue skies thanks to the clouds dissipating to the west of the Wicklow Mountains.

    Currently walking back to the car after doing the loop at the Marconi station ruins south of Clifden, Galway. Like soup here, clouds at very low level. They were probably 150-200m ASL on my way in an hour ago, but it’s at ground now and visibility is below 500, closer 200m. Moderate breeze, constant. Dry though.

    Was just over 15.0C until 03.30 and has been dropping slowly since to its current temp of 11.5C as the cold front clears . Sky is lightening with blue patches N of me.

    Wet morning turned more to drizzle now with 2.8mm recorded.

    This is why I often talk about Bray (and a lot of wicklow and N Wexford having a bit of a Microclimate. Cloud Diversion/evapouration and Foehn effect adding a few degrees in temp.

    Following a moderate shower in North Kildare about an hour ago, temperatures have been steadily falling. Still nearly 20 minutes till sunset but the temperature is already down to 5.1c.
