Ras Kas - Soul On Ice II
Listened to a few songs of this, a few hit, a few miss. Will need to finish it off, but I got distracted by.....

Mayhem Lauren and DJ Muggs - Members Only EP
I was disappointed to find out this was an EP, but upon listening, I'm happy it is. 4 bangers.

Lúi Pirata (AKA rawsoul) has dropped two tracks over the last few weeks.

The first is a freestyle over Stromzy's "Vossibop" beat, the second is track called "Show Them All" produced by DJ Flip.

    Both are really, really good.

    Ghostface Killah - Ghostface Killahs
I was suprised by this, really really good album, clocks in at 33 minutes which I love because it's dense, dope beats and great raps. Anything longer and it would have felt stretched.

Conway the Machine - Look What I Became
Just started listening to this, I already want to rob grannies and sell bricks wholesale. It must be good.

If you're in the mood for something a little more soulful or different, try Sampa The Great - The Return.

Great album, very impressed with it.

The stretch and Babbitto documentary is on film 4 tomorrow night ,I really liked it

Thoroughly enjoyed this, loved all the old footage. The fact they were able to get Jay-Z, Nas and even Eminem to appear in the documentary shows how significant their show was. Those 3 don't really do interviews.

I've only listened to Little Sims' album Grey Area in that list and its pretty good. Selfish and 101 FM are my two favourite tracks off it. Only realised who she was after watching the new season of Top Boy as she plays Dushane's love interest.

Some of the best production on a Kanye project in a decade.

    Lyrics also feature.......

Selah, Follow God and Use This Gospel are great imo. Closed on Sunday decent too. Just try drown out the lyrics though. That said it's probably his weakest album by a distance and I was no fan of ye.

Production is good, lyrics not so much
    'God is' is terrible

From what I've listened to, the production and mixing is amazing.
But, I've heard Chance to Gospel rap before with the choirs, so that ain't nothing new.
There are only so many words that rhyme with Jesus.
    I don't need a sermon.
His words in interviews lately are just repetition of his lyrics. He never was the greatest lyricist, but on this, I don't even know if they are lyrics or not. At least he's trying to rap I guess, that was the positive when I started to listen to it.

I can't wait til he starts worshipping Satan and his first album is called Hail Satin, Hail Satan.

New Apollo Brown album Sincerely Detroit is fire.

One of the most underrated producers of all time, as consistent as Premo in my opinion.
