Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Travel Insurance-Personal Luggage

    Hi

I am travelling to South Africa and Dubai next month, I was looking at travel insurance, the one thing that struck me was that the ones I looked at is that if stuff is stolen there is a limit of ~ €200 per item depending on the policy. The overall limit may be way higher but the per item is way lower than my phone/tablet amount. Can anyone recommend an insurer that doesn't do this? I looked at insuremyholiday, aatravel, AIB and Laya. Finding it out this information can be difficult in some cases.

    Thanks

See if your home policy will cover specific items for accidental damage and theft outside the home, make sure it includes foreign travel. Obviously will cost more but you can usually itemise valuable items like jewellery and cameras and add them to the policy.
