Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bring up my QCA

Hi all, hoping I can get some help here!

So I just finished 3rd year, and my QCA dropped a bit to 2.88.

I am doing an FYP next year and I can pull up and get a 2.1 but I'd love a 1.1.

Does anyone know what grade average I would need for the next two semesters to achieve it, if its possible?

    All help is much appreciated!!!

This is a bit old but I'm sure it's still reasonably accurate. A QCA Calculator spreadsheet someone made. Plug in all your details (important to remember to change the weightings according to your course structure) and see what you get.

To be honest though, I think you'll be really up against it to get to a 1.1 with your current QCA, as you'd need to bring it up to at least 3.3 depending on your department's criteria for discretionary upgrades. It might be possible, but a 4+ point jump in two semesters is going to be difficult.

    Best of luck.
