Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Taken off Facebook group , shocking stuff. Can see the parking ticket in the windscreen comment or on fb might be correct with clamped for not between the lines.

Mad, what are you to do?

Although looking at it closer at least they've made some attempt to protect alloy with the paper wedged in...

Is that a disabled space?? Pic from the path side it looks like there is some sort of marking on the space.

Don't think so, it's the curve from the line on the first picture. Bit ****ty giving a ticket there if they had paid, spirit Vs letter of law...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,391 ✭✭✭jozi

Maybe the ticket expired, happens all the time. Clampers job is to check and put on the clamps, he just got unlucky.

Would we consider this a legitimate parking space? Not sure I'd risk it myself:

The lineage indicates it's another space of some type, your looking at Toyota iQ capacity or less :D

If I had that car, I'd be parking there every day, the Dublin bike stand gives comfort that he won't have his mirror taken off. I'm sure he doesn't need the 90 euro.

I'd consider it a space on the basis of the 'T' marking at the front of the Qashqai not being corrected/removed, and it's opposite one not being completely removed either.

If I was clamped there, and if I had a battery powered angle grinder in the boot. I'd be chopping that clamp off!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 9,538 ✭✭✭btkm8unsl0w5r4

I know that spot....very active for clamping (they clamped a ferrari f12 a few space beyond that yesterday. I would not risk it. Once got clamped there just because when parking tag was new, I had a valid ticket. They are always around.

It's clearly not a legitimate parking space.
The parking space has been deleted to provide a sightline to the kerb extension which projects out past the outer parking line of the row of spaces.

Not deleted very well IMO. I'd argue that one... or just head off in my F12 instead and not worry about the loose change that the clamp cost....

Can we move on to what this thread is really about instead of 2 pages about a clamp
