Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reci Completion Cert

    If a house hasn't been lived in for a few years and the electricity has been cut off, I gather that a Reci registered electrician is required to check out the wiring and complete a Completion Cert to confirm it adheres to current standards and is in good standing.

    Any one been through this lately and can give an idea of how much a Reci will charge for this and the Completion Cert please?

    We just move into a house that had been vacant for about a year. There was a few different things we needed done. Looking at the itemized quote we got from our electrician at the time he has stated a cert is required and this will involve 2 electrical tests- cost €450

    You might be sorted by now, but just in case this helps!
