Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Beginner trombone?

    I've been thinking about learning to play trombone, and wondering about what starting instrument to go for. I've never played before so I'm weary that I may not stick it though.

    I found there's a place in mountjoy sq that it's possible to rent instruments from. Is there any downsides to this?

    dunno about that, but I bought one off ebay for €20.

    the lacquer on the brass wasn't pretty but it works!

    I'm guessing that you couldn't rent one for €20 for very long......
