    Heavy showers or rain and hail here in Dublin southside, had a rainfall rate of 89.4mm/hr at one point earlier this morning, pretty impressive stuff. If this keeps up the stove will be lit this evening.

    Very pleasant in North Kildare, alternating between slightly hazy sun and full on clear blue sky sun. Unfortunately I have to pay a visit to the office in Dublin to do some essential work that can't be done from home.

    With the winds being so light, the clouds that are around are more or less stationary and for once I'm in a sweet spot of clear sky where the sun. Over two hours of unbroken sun now in North Kildare. Plenty of cloud all around during the past two hours but not one of them had obscured the sun at my location. Very pleasant afternoon and getting loads done in the garden.
