Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I used the link in the OP, selected 4TB and chose the white one. Signed up for the newsletter and got a 10% off code in the email they sent. Ended up costing €72.89 delivered. Same one was over £92 on Amazon.

word of warning, these only have 6 month warranties. Got one at the end of last year and it has failed already. Western Digital won't do anything for me.

    Short answer No
You need a survilance hard drive which is capable of running 24/7

thank you, the surveillance ones are expensive enough. about 55 euros for a 1tb.
I'm trying to find a cheaper alternative.

These should still fall under the "fit for use" and "of merchantable quality" umbrella though. A six month warranty shouldn't doesn't negate your statutory rights, so depending on the value, might be worth arguing that and keeping the scc in mind?
