Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fight thread for later. The undercard doesn't appear to be all that great, but I am looking forward to Jono-Quigg later

Some boxers on before the main event are Anthony Fowler, Hughie Fury and Zach Parker.

I think Quigg could get Jono out of there early to mid rds.

actually fancy jono in this, i think the farmer fight performance was good for him...he's got the look to come on from it.
quigg has proven himself a top dog, but hes got a feel of last weeks man about him...hes got hard miles on clock too.
    both have great engines though.
    quigg is bookies favourite

Jack Cullen breezed through that, could be a good fight with Jason Quigley of its made

Whatever happened to Roy Sheahan? He stoppped Cullen in 1.

Rd1 of a 3rd fight In a tournament final when Cullen had just fought and sheenan had a rest for about 20 mins. Tg4 wanted Byrne and O'brien as top billing and wouldn't put that final on after it's so the timings were messed up

He got messed about by assassin and red corner about the money owed for that so packed it in and went back to work I think

I watched the Quigg undercard which ended a good while ago, and they went on to the paid coverage.

But the MTK fights tonight seem like they are completely free on youtube? At least I'm getting value for money tonight :-)

And if you're not happy with that they have the Irish Pool competition 2500 A Man - Blackball Tournament free on youtube as well.

Your man fell over there before the towel went in.

Really looking forward to this main event.

Easy work for Hughie, but your man didn't look up to much. Hughie's style is muck to watch but he can still tick on, he's been in with a few top Heavyweights at a very young age. He still has time, but he's surely not going to be a worldbeater either.

    Main event should be tasty.

Quigg looks very small and weak at this weight.

Hahaha he blocked me on twitter for asking him would he be doing that for this fight now that he doesn't have Crolla to top the cards

    Nice movement and accuracy

Wish I had a few pound on Jono. Had I saw the weigh ins I probably might have. Looking good here, timing his feints and testing Quigg's reactions out.

Quigg is looking a bit ragged here but he's got a big dig on him. Good stuff so far.

Carroll looking good here,, doing really well

Quigg now looking like a man trying just not to get beaten up.

Quigg looks done already and looks like he knows he can't get near Carroll. It's all about not getting hurt for him now.

He's hoping for an Eddie special on the judges cards

If Jono could punch, Quigg would be gone!

Come to think of it... Has anyone ever seen Scott Quigg and Charlie Zelenoff in the same room at the same time?

hes got a great mental attitude....he came away from farmer fight and took every positive thing he could from it....it spurred him on rather than knocked him back.

Jono full of energy and variation..

    Quigg still looks unmarked...

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,611 ✭✭✭iebamm2580

If carroll had power he could be very good.

The longer this goes on the more Quiggs corner should took at throwing in the towel.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,435 ✭✭✭weemcd

They should probably call this. Quigg can't win bar a Hail Mary KO.

Joe Gallagher proving he's past it as well

His fighters have no plan B, him and Danny Vaughan are the 2 most overrated trainers going
