Great Music Videos for Great songs

So, There have been some classic music videos over the years ever since MTV used to play music videos. (I'm aware music videos existed before MTV).

Some absolute classics, some groundbreaking, some funny, and some just bizarre!!

What are your favourite music videos? - where the quality of the video matches the quality of the song.


Buggles - Video Killed the Radio Star - Where it all started, the first music video played on MTV (keep an eye out for Hans Zimmer on keyboards)


Roots Manuva - Witness (1 Hope)


Peter Gabriel has a lot of amazing videos, but Sledgehammer is probably one of the best known. Simply Iconic. (Diging in the Dirt also gets an honourable mention)


Next up is Metallica's One, this was quite disturbing for me as a kid watching it!!


Then we have Ireland's own Aphex Twin with Windowlicker.. Truly out there, but a lot of his videos were out there.. somewhere....


Then we have Blur's Coffee & TV. Great song and a great video


The Prodigy had had quite a few brilliant videos, but Smack My Bitch Up gets the nod here..


The Chemical Brothers - Elektrobank - again, have an excellent catalogue of great videos, but the Elektrobank video is just brilliant, and goes so well with the song.


Dire Straits - Money For Nothing. Very 80's, very iconic


Dirty Vegas - Days Go By - love this song and loved this video..


Guns n Roses - November Rain
