Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Most of these sites are just driven off a model output and the location you search for just pulls data for the nearest grid point on the model.

Most sites use the GFS model, yr.no use the ECMWF model, so tends to be more accurate especially for Europe. However they are only as accurate as the model forecast so have times where they are less accurate and more accurate.

For Ireland, Met Eireann is your best bet as they have customized written forecast and understand the nuances of forecasting for Ireland, some other sites who offer written forecasts for Ireland may also be of use.

Lines is good for comparing all the models in one place.

    I like www.met.ie, www.metcheck.com & www.yr.no

But again I don't think there is a lot between any of them. I note you use Yr already but I still find it decent.

Met Eireann generally get it right for Ireland. They are getting better and better at it too.

The UCD Meteorology and Climate Centre web site is also worth a look:
