    Ulster are dead and buried.

I knew it would be tough for Ulster but I didn't expect them to get absolutely battered.

Sheesh. Nothing positive out of that first half really. Glasgow just comprehensively dominating across the park.

Never got out of the blocks. Was expecting more of a game than that

Genuinely raging at how Ulster are ending Best's career. This is a ****in disgrace.
Their defence can't be described as an utter shambles as they don't actually have one!

    Utterly dreadful from Ulster.

    Couple of things.

    1) Glasgow have been machine like. Their physicality, their pace and accuracy have all been very impressive. Hastings looks to me to be a better out half than Russell as he is less likely to make a balls up. Hogg is dangerous as is their 13. Their pack is blowing Ulster away in atta k and defence

From Ulster's point of view, the lineout is a shambles, they aren't committing men to the breakdown and they aren't playing with anywhere like the intensity of Glasgow.

Glasgow look like they want it more.

Glasgow are playing rugby while mentally Ulster are on Portstewart Strand with their Factor 50 on and a BBQ, beer and 99.

It isn’t so bad when you try your best and are beaten by a better team, but Ulster simply haven’t turned up. I was hoping for the level of intensity Ulster brought against Leinster, but there so far from that level of performance tonight.

Has Donncha been bathing in a vat of chocolate?

Donnacha O'Callaghan has just described the Ulster first half performance as unacceptable. He's not far wrong with that comment.

He always seems to look like that.

I don't know if the Premier Sports presenter was taking the piss or not, but he just called the commentator Greg Laidlaw.

Given he had previously described Scotland's world cup warm up games as world cup qualifiers I'm not so sure.

Surprised Lacey didn't let that play out and then go to the TMO

    That wasn't a forward pass

How many penalty offences was that in the space of about 10 seconds from Glasgow?? Very lucky to come away with no cards.

I'd have said it was interference with the scrumhalf. Certain I've seen penalties given for grabbing the arm like that before.

Only when they're picking at the base. Once the balls in hand he's fair game as a carrier.

Glasgow want this. Ulster look as if they couldn't care less.
