Server for you guild can be checked here!!! Its being hammered at the moment but keep trying!

People who are in Erin Go Bragh guild on website are assigned to Server Basilisk Droid. Hopefully ATT are on the same?!

Turns out there is an ATT guild for empire, witless probs running that

Havnt made a guild yet with the guys I'm playing with, probably do it ingame, didnt want to get stuck into a server.

ATT has me deployed to Basilisk Droid so I hope I'm not locked to it soemthing stupid.

Anyone know when you can pickup your gathering/crafting skills? Just wondering if it's possible to go to a 'capital city' as such, and pick them up straight away, or if you need to wait till lvl10 (or something similar).

you can only pick them up after you complete you 1-10 level areas as your companions will not be with you at that stage you can train them on the Fleet or on the main cities

No man your companion does all your crafting and gathering , mind you you can gather resources if they are off doing there missions and crafting but i never say resources till the main cities quest areas .

You can get your skills earlier - just go up to the Fleet as soona s you can. Talking to all the crew skill trainers also gets you from level 1 to 4.

You can gather from pickups, or from skinning (strong+ droids or beasts, for scavenging or bio). Never saw any nodes on the starter world, but I got some good mats from droids.

You can also reverse engineer (disenchant) some drops into mats, better than vendoring them.

Honestly, scavenging missions are a really bad idea as your primary way of getting mats - you will run out of money so fast. Pick up from the world, use missions to fill urgent gaps, or get stuff you've gone way beyond if you're crafting for alts/mates.

Crafting and Mission skills require companions to do stuff - but you get your companions before you get to the fleet.

You can also jump straight up there and get your AC once you hit lvl 10, no need to wait till you're directed.

So would you say it's a good idea to go to Fleet straight away and get them, or if the benefit not worth the effort early on?

Wait until you are ready to go to the fleet to go, you will get there around level 10 or 11, a small tip for when you are there, speak to every crew skill trainer as you get exp for speaking to them, after speaking to them all you get nearly half a level :pac:

It'll be fairly limited as to how useful it is. The GTN (equivalent of AH) hasn't really kicked off yet, so the market isn't there yet to sell off the extra stuff you'd create and since you don't have your companion yet, you can't even send them off to farm stuff for you.

Which is a major gold sink, at around 100 skill its costing me 300 or so to send them off that's 600 every 2 mins or so, it really drains your credits I wasn't watching but ive gone quite low

You can pre-load the game so you only need the cd-key :pac:

Absolutely - the XP from talking to people is 3 levels now, as opposed to half a level later. Also, it means you have a nice buffer of mats once you start crafting.

this is something i couldnt find when i did the beta test. Whats the default key binding for bringing up the bg/warzone queues and whats the min level you need to be to get in?

I'd really like to pvp my way to 50... then pvp my brains out at 50 :pac:

Just do the class quests and you will eventually get there

reddy - You get to the fleet soon after creating your lightsabre, which is around the level 9-10 mark, depending on if your doing all the quests. So when you finish the starter zone main quest chain, you are rewarded a lightsabre and are then sent off planet to the fleet. Which has all the vendors etc

But i dont think you can PvP till a higher level, but the pvp comps are on the fleet and most of the other planets vendor areas.

Press M to bring up the map, and on the bottom left you can select some things you wish to way point on the map. Like asking a guard for directions in wow.

You should wait til around level 10 anyway, even if you somehow manage to do the quests before that. (Least level i was in the fleet was 9)

At level ten you get your advanced class and access to pvp.

Hi, for anyone on Basilisk Droid, I've seen that it's been down as having Russian and Polish on it. Is there much of those languages being spoken in chat or is it mainly English?

Its only english in general chat from what I have seen. The problem is people are labeling servers as 'polish' or 'russian' if they have 1 guild on it. The unofficial russian or polish server definitly isnt basilisk droid. Im finding that the unwritten rule of english only in general chat is being used in swtor unlike other mmo's

I was watching docs stream last night and he was saying the admins give warnings over non-English in general chat on English servers.

Seems most servers are a mixed bag though

I'm level 19 atm on Basilisk and i've not seen anybody speak another language, so i'd doubt that's true

When I was first on, there were a couple of Polish speakers there talking about setting up a custom chat channel so they could use that for Polish and general for English. Perfect solution really.

I think in beta about 8 lvl 19 took it out with the help of allot more lower level players

Got my bounty hunter to lvl 13, loving it, also loving my sith inquisitor, i think ill level a few toons to mid teens before i get near deciding on a main.

Just took a call from gamestop, they have the game in stock now guys.

It's on the gamestop website for 40 euro, but they charge 50 in-store i'm level 20 at the moment, and it's great! :cool:
