Bread is food of the gods.

Crusty loaf and a block of Kerry Gold I could easily polish off in one sitting.

Whatever amount of bread you eat less 100% is the general rule. I need to follow the rule.

I probably go through a packet of McCambridges brown bread on average every 2 days, even shorter if i have some salmon in the house the brown bread disappears in one sitting

Bread is my downfall when it comes to trying to loose weight.
Currently have a fondness for Stafford's Chia seed and wholegrain bread.

I’ve started making brown bread. Jesus, it’s top class stuff. I’d go so far as to say Irish brown bread is the best bread in the world.

I just had 3 slices of brown batch loaf toasted for breakfast. I had lower cholesterol butter on it, I know it dont make difference but it was lovely.

Somebody told me once the recommended daily bread intake should be two slices preferably wholegrain or something grain or oats in it. But is two slices ever enough?

Most toasters have 4 slots so why would you stop at 3 slices 4 seems a much more "logical" limit :)

Don't feel sorry for me but toaster is broke, I did batch loaf under the grill, 4 slices won't fit on grill tray, batch loaf is bigger than normal bread

Just reread my post and it makes no sense as I put most toasters have 4 slots when what I meant was 2 slots :o

So if you had a toaster even numbers of toast seems to me to be the way to go unless you are sharing it.

You have the palate of a peasant and more than likely a gut lining like a dirty mixing bowl left out overnight.
