Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fire Stove Installation

I've just had a new 8KW stove installed to replace an open fire. I was happy to see that the stove fit nicely in the chamber as I was expecting it to protrude a little.
On closer inspection I discovered that the installer left just a two inch gap between the stove and the back wall (chamber walls have a stone tile cladding, fireboard and block). The manual for the stove calls for a 6 inch minimum.

Do I need to get them back to rectify this? The top of the chamber has a thick fireboard which was fitted before the chamber walls. Not sure how they fix this without making a real hack job of it....

    Thanks for any guidance.
