Browser to Load Chinese Characters

Hi all!

Having a lot of problems trying to load chinese characters on my machine. Using Win XP, Browsers: IE, MYIE2 (my preferred browser). Any suggestions on how I load the characters without changing browsers?

get microsofts global IME from here
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/ime/default.asp

I use this in my cafe and all my chinese customers have no problems with websites or email creation

Download the chinese encoder thing from microsoft, and install it and hopefully should work in your preferred browser. alternatively you could use NJSTAR, afaik that's an encoder thing.

IE browser
click view on the toolbar, select encoding then select chinese gb2312 or big 5 will do.

Similarly for Solaris and Linux, just install the appropriate locale packages (zh*) and fonts.
