Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hopefully someone knows specifically about Pat's but i do know when a mate went in to one in galway there was no contact/phone etc for one month. Think limited family visits after a fortnight

Generally there's no restriction on mobile phones or visitors when detoxing in St Pat's. Only possible exception is if he's on the locked ward (Dean Swift) rather than the addictions ward (Temple Ward), but even then phones and visitors are generally allowed. (Charger use is restricted in Dean Swift though.)

Having said that, I'd suggest respecting his family's request and waiting for him to get in contact rather than trying to contact him.
