Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Game over.

Tampa Defense been on the field for this entire quarter I'm sure.

More or less and they have two of their starters on the sideline.

2pt conversation no good. Five point game.

    Full momentum packers

    Unfortunate but the correct call.

I only realised how that sounded after I posted it. It was just unfortunate for the situation they were in. Definitely the correct call. I didn't want to say it was a stupid penalty to give away cause I have some sympathy for the defender.

Tampa ahead, but it feels like they are behind.

If nothing else they need a long non-scoring drive.

  • Registered Users Posts: 618 ✭✭✭Kev8360

I don't like going for 2 there - just gives momentum back to the Bucs if you don't make it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Exciting game but I'd be concerned about either team against the AFC teams. They both looked quite flawed

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭BrentMused

The Buccaneers might as well be as aggressive as possible on 4th downs here as their defense don't look capable of stopping the Packers' offense at all.

They badly need a long, time-consuming scoring drive here.

Have to go for two so you can tie it with a fg. No choice about it really.

Also not getting it makes no real difference to your chance to win the game barring something very strange happening with safeties.

Drinking a glass of beer, listening to Milwaukee Radio, ads for Chevvies and John Deere...this was the life circa 1957...

If they complete the comeback, I'm going for a stogie on the porch and then I'm taking Peggy Sue up to the turnpike...

I was thinking the exact same thing.

In fact, the Bills look like the most compete team now to me, but of course the Chiefs may beat them 54-0 later!

ah cop on will you. A one score game is far from game over regardless of how the momentum has flowed this quarter. Both sides are still capable of winning this.

I didn’t take it as you saying it that way.

Another big play on 3rd down

I don't think I've ever seen such an inconsistent receiving corps.

Amazing catches and bone-headed drops abound.

    Sloppy from the packers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,326 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

Evans is costing them this game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,362 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Another bucs interception. Packers getting all the luck now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,042 ✭✭✭Carfacemandog

He has played well overall, but Brady is lucky to not have thrown 3 interceptions now. That was a hospital pass.

Maybe Evans should have caught it, but Brady had loads of time and thought that was a bad throw.

    oOOF, THIS IS A GAME

A hospital pass is throwing to a receiver knowing he's going to take a huge hit almost immediately, and not protecting him with the pass.

    There was no-one near Evans.

That was not a hospital pass.

4 perfect throws from Brady and 1 other that you'd expect to be caught, dropped.

His receivers are killing him here.

Last pass too high, Evans was wide open

Evans is costing them this game.

Not Evans fault. He was full stretch at full tilt. That ones on Brady.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,702 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

... The instant it left his hand I knew it was a bad throw.

Even a fg there was worth a lot.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,473 ✭✭✭Adamcp898

That’s a pass that got away from Brady to me tbh

First steal the underpants... I mean... beat Brady...

    Then worry about the AFC!

Poor throw but he should have caught it. Horribly mistimed his jump too.

Shaq Barrett coming up big here today.

Great game. Ups, downs and ins and outs. Who knows what's going to happen next. Game of the playoffs so far.

No ones catching that. Hes at the peak of his jump and its barely scrapping his fingers. Brady can't get all the plaudits and no criticism. It was just a bad throw. 6 inches lower and its a catch and TD

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,361 ✭✭✭BrentMused

Vita Vea is an absolute powerhouse!

What I meant by hospital pass was that it was very, very high. He was fully stretched out but couldn't reach it. True that there was nobody near him.

Brady doing some mad sh1t for a QB of his standing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,473 ✭✭✭Adamcp898

Not much debate with that one

Brady is costing them this game.

Another INT. the packers need to make it count though.

That last pick wasn't much different to a punt to be fair

The third pick was ok, same result as a punt really.

Maybe not with that pass rush!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,861 ✭✭✭Mysterypunter

Any word from all the Brady apoligists? He's throwing the game Away, Buccaneers have not managed the clock very well, it will cost them, keeping the Packers in it, should be out of sight

Two big turn overs and GB can't move the ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 548 ✭✭✭MaddChris

In a rare turn of events, the Bucs defence are now keeping them in this game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,770 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Nice work by the Tampa D on those last two drives, especially after being on the field for most of the 3rd quarter.

Tampa are gonna eat clock now

    GB needed a score there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,129 ✭✭✭cosatron

Why arent we trying to run the ball.

This arm-punting by Brady appears to be working out okay for them
